My question is this, can I set the trolling motor down in the water and start to record a track while using your big motor. Just curious because it would be easier to just set the tm out and hit the record button and record a track while just motoring along with your big motor at say about 2.5 mph. I figure that would be easier for I can mark fish on graph and make another pass through them with the big motor while recording. Im talking about doing this under the dams in the river while fishing for sauger. I know you wouldnt want to do this where there is standing timber and structure that could whack your tm on.
