    Default Fish finder not working?

When i run my bass boat over 25 mph my hummingbird 525 just reads 0.6 and is at that point worthless is that normal or is there a setting off or is this a speed or transducer problem, any help will be welcomed.

Sounds like your ducer is coming up too much when you're up on plane. I have the same problem at around 12-15 mph on my 997. Tried to lower the ducer to get it down in the water more and it got better, but still loses readings at higher speeds. If it's a fiberglass boat you can epoxy it to the inside of the hull for a flawless reading.

yeah the boat is fiberglass so that sounds like my best option or i could mount it beside the drain plug hole

I had the same problem but relocating and lowering my transducer solved the problem.

Others can probably give you better opinions (since mine doesnt do so well at top speeds:rolleyes...but just make sure the roller on the trailer doesnt hiut the ducer when loading or unloading.

I leave my sensitivity on Auto and it re-adjusts to a lower setting when I'm at high speeds. I can still see a line of the bottom, but not in any detail at all. I am running a flat bottom Carolina Skiff and with it being completely flat there's no real pattern of the turbulance under my hull. Looks to me that where you have your 'ducer mounted at now it see's alot of water/air bubbles (turbulance) at high speeds. JMHO.:o
