    Default 997 on 619

Just wondering if anyone out there had mounted a 997 on their 619 and could give me some insight on where they located the transducer. I appreciate any help you could give me.....

Here is a shot of the Ranger 619 without a jackplate. Just make sure you mount the transducer below the motor mounts so it will be clear on both sides.

Thanks Joby.....just how much clearance does the transducer need from the motor and does the "dirty" water from the motor cause a problem with it this close to the big motor?

The HDSi transducer needs seven inches of clearance between the lower unit and the transom or some of the Si sonar to that side will be blocked. The turbulence from the prop should not be a concern as this is aft of the transducer.
