Default HB si transducer cable repair worked...pic

Finally went to lake to verify transducer cable repair. I did not take my boat out. Instead, I just turned the unit on, submerges the transducer, then walked about the boat dock deck. SI image looks strange, but I was swinging the transducer underwater like a pendulum. You can see the transitions.

    CP got wiring skills!

Now just tell me that it was your wife that picks out the paper towels… I wouldn’t have thought you were a “flower child”!

I dunno Jaxsprat. I was looking at the picture of the cable and saw the flowers on the paper towel there and couldn’t help thinking that CP could be about the right age when all that started… :D

Wait a minute! My parents drove a VW microbus! No flowers but it was green and white. Come to think of it; they did roll their own “cigarettes” (or at least that’s what they told us they were…

Hey Cane all kidding:D aside, you say SI looks strange yes but that's just what image looks like when shooting thru ice on lake in north. See in order to get ducer to work it must move so U bolt ducer to PVC pipe stick it thru a upside down bucket (hole exact size of PVC in bottom) then glue a pvc T on top of pipe which supports it on the upside down bucket Anywho U then turn PVC/ducer in circle to get image-turn it 2x u get double image & so on works cool u can drill a hole in ice see crib out to side & by looking at screen u can tell where it is & walk right to it.
