Have you considered the MinnKota 330?

    Minn Kota Battery Chargers

30 amps total (10 per battery) for faster charge, 3 year warranty vs. the 1 yr ProMariner, and a $30 rebate from Feb 15 until July 1.

I just installed a 2 bank ProMariner in my boat yesterday. I plugged it in and walked off. Checked on it about 6 hours later and noticed 2 things...The charger is extremely quiet and it was also much "warmer" than I was expecting it to be...Almost to the point of being hot...Not sure if it is supposed to be that "warm" so I unplugged it and I am going to call the manufacturer today.

I called customer service and I was told that it is normal for a multi stage charger to get very warm. I don't think that it will get so warm that it will hurt anything close to it or that is touching it, but as a safety precaution, I am going to relocate the charger to a more isolated area.

I have 4 batteries in my boat and decided to go with two 2-bank chargers...

If 1 goes bad...I scan still use the other and just switch the wires ...while waiting on a replacement of the bad one....
