    Default Resetting An Eagle 480

Seems I read somewhere how you reset an Eagle 480 but cannot find it. Anybody know how it's done?

Hit menu twice. Scroll down to reset. It's on page 64 in the manual. <*)}}}><

Oops, I didnt mean resetting to factory installed settings. I mean re-booting when you have problems with the unit. Soimething about holding a couple buttons down and powering down (or up) the unit?!?

WARNING!!!To those that have GPS in your unit as this WILL!!! erase all waypoints. Turn unit off. Now hold both zoom keys & power key down at the same time. When it comes back on it will have been reset. <*)}}}><

gabowman - Have you ever noticed your 480 turning on by its self? Mine will at no particular time. Sometimes while running down the lake other times while sitting in the garage. For long sitting spells in the garage I've gotten to unpluggin the unit. Once it came on and stayed on long enough to run down the battery. Just recently I added a disconnect switch but haven't gotten it tied in yet. Little unit works great other than that.
