Humminbird problems!!!

I was updating my 787 and it wasnt in cradle good 5 seconds in to it it goes off. Now it only flashes a white screen. Any quick fixes without sending it back?

i loaded my 787 and 1197 with out any problems i did do the factory restore defaults befoe i loaded updates

I've updated all of my units (1197, 997, 788) and have done a number of others for friends....no issues for us whatsoever.

Remember to restore those factory defaults before updating!

My 997 upgrade went smooth. Me hittin my acc. button while upgrading my 787 is the only problem.

After installing the upgrades into the 787 what improvements on everyday use can you see in the unit? I have not installed the upgrades yet. I have no trouble with the unit and do not want to install something that doesn't help with everyday use of the unit. Does the upgrades makes it a better unit? Thanks for any info.
