First question is I want to know what I need to buy besides what I have listed below, if anything to use the LSS-1 with an HDS 7 and an HDS 5 at my dash. I assume when you buy the LSS-1 unit you get at least 1 cable in it.Is this correct?
Hds 5
Hds 7
Lss 1
what else to I need to make this work? I need to know what to order if someone knows this, I would much appreciate it. Also, I have an LMS-520C that I really like. I understand you can link them with the hds units, but would need that other accessory to do that, in which I aint buying. Am I correct about that? Thanks for any and all help.

All you need is a extra ethernet cable. Even to the 520. Connect both to the LSS-1 box. The LSS-1 transducers come with a mounting bracket. Very similar to the 2-D transducer. Hope this helps. <*)}}}><

Hi,
try LEI Extras
This is the Lowrance parts website entrance portal.
It looks like the Broadband Sounder-1 path has Ethernet cables available to order.

Like Crappie Chatt said, it will come with an ethernet cable. If you want to add two extra units you will need two extra ethernet cables. Everything else is in the box for installation. You can connect up to 3 units to the LSS box. With the 520 you will not be able to view the SS pics on it. To buy all of these items you can get on Cabela's, BPS and other sites. I bought my whole HDS setup from Three Rivers Marine in PA. They are great to work with and have all items in stock plus a little cheaper than Cabelas and BPS.
There would be no need to buy an ethernet cable to hook my lms-522c-igps to the LSS-1 if I understand correctly. What I wanted to do, was to link it, my 520, straight to one of my new HDS units and see way points...Is this possible without buying the additional expansion port?
