    Default Lowrance HDS-5


    Hey guys,

    I just installed the Lowrance HDS-5 and I'm having some trouble with the sonar. I'm not sure if the transducer is too low or too high but I installed it on the same place I had my last fish finder. For some reason, I'm not seeing the arches for fish and I know darn well the whole lake isn't empty lol. Seriously though, I'm getting frustrated with it becuase I spent 700 bucks on it. If anyone has had this problem or if anyone has this unit and can share the settings they have, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Go to the installation menu. Highlight transducer type box. Select your transducer. Press enter. Highlight OK & press enter. When you reset these units, they default to Unknown. See if that helps ya!!! <*)}}}><
