This morning my 'bird would "freak out" (technical term). Sonar would show solid bar of colors taking up the full screen, and was reading a depth of 3' although I was in 32' of water. I tried turning it on and off a couple times with no result. Finally, I went in the menu and switched from advanced settings, back to the factory default settings, and all was well. Later in the day, I switched back to advanced settings, and it worked fine. Anyone know what gives? Could cold temps in the morning be the culprit?
