2010 model HB's in BPS master catalog

Just got my BPS 2010 Master Catalog.....

The HB Si combos are advertised to have the ContourXD basemap preloaded....

That tells me that the 2010 models are for sale but I'm going to be very careful about ordering one without a confirmation from someone at BPS or personally seeing the unit on the shelf....

The BPS catalog number is the very same number used in the 2009 catalogs.....

I'm guessing I could actually receive a 2009 model from backstock....if they still have some of the 2009 models in stock....

I'll be checking personally with my retailer because I have my mind mind set on a 2010 model with the ContourXD basemap....

Crud, I didn't get my copy yet. Did you catch the prices on the units? Can you post them please.

If you get a 998, you don't have to worry about it being last years model, as they didn't make it last year. They are $1999, if memory serves me.

OK. Thought something was fishy, so I went upstairs and the master catalog was laying on my pillow. Wonder how long the backorder will be?

Still fighting the internal battle between HB and Lowrance. I really need canepole to decide it.

I would bet that they don't have it. BPS is just trying to get the catalog out before the new year and of course all the new stuff is in it. Those new units are not released yet and wont be until Janurary, i believe. But i do think that you can pre order them now.

That is exactly the reason for my original post.....for people who are anxious, like myself, to get the new units....

Verify personally with the retailer you choose that what you are ordering is, in fact, the 2010 model...(if you are set on getting a 2010 model)....

Just because the catalog is out in circulation does not mean that you will get the new model.....especially since the catalog number is the same as last year...

Retailers generally try to clear out their backstock of older models first..
