I blew a fuse (3 amp) on my Lowrance 520c and now it will not turn on again. Did I fry the unit? Is there anything I can do or do I have to send it to the factory? I know that I have power because my 522c will work at that location.
Thanks

You will have to send it in for repairs if you are sure the wire didn't short out anywhere. You might also make sure power was restored when you replaced the fuse. Sometimes when we keep adding equipment over the years we will wind up with 2 fuses in line.

Wow! I answered KK's question on another board before coming here. Odd how close our answers are:
"I'd guess you had a major failure inside the unit that will need repair at Lowrance or a problem with the pins in the connector. You might also check the power source feeding the fuse, since sometimes wires are fused twice and there could be another blown fuse."
Obviously we've both spent our share of time trying to figure out a double fused line![]()
