Have an Eagle 480 up there now and was thinking of maybe getting a color unit. Have always had Eagle units since LCD came out so don't know anything about other mfgs. Was looking at the Lowrance HPS-5X and the Elite-5X, both have the 5" screen which I guess is the same size as my unit, the Elite is 480 X 480 same as mine. Is the HPS-5X worth the extra $100 for a TM sonar? Not looking for side scan.
