    I had a 931C, basically the same unit without the GPS. Wasn't impressed with it, and now have a 778C smaller screen but a much better unit!

    It didn't show very good detail or fish arches. I tried 2 different H/B transducers with no difference. If I remember correctly, it used a 200/50 transducer. The new 778C I have uses a 200/83 transducer. Perhaps the transducer makes the difference, because the 778C shows excellent detail. The 931 wasn't capable of using a 200/83 transducer.
