this is the one I have for mine. It works great for my 997 and the area its mounted in.
The arm may be too short for some, but it works for me. I didn't buy from this place but the price looks good.

Could someone tell me what model# Ram-Mount I need for my Humminbird 997? I've looked at humminbird.com and basspro.com and seems like there are two different ones that will work? One is for medium size units and the other is for large units. Which one do I need? thanks for the help

I use the 1 1/2" ball on mine, but I would go with the 2" ball on the bow if I was starting over. The pounding on the bow mount causes the mount to slip.
I put the wrong link in my reply, Sorry

I have the 1.5" on mine too, but I wouldn't do it again. I would go with the 2.25" ball. There are so many combinations that your options are endless. Ram mounts are kinda like Lincoln Logs/Tinker Toys/Leggos all in one.
Try this place.
