    Default Hummingbird 967 interlinking?'s

Just wanted to see if I am on the right train of thought on the interlinking. Does both of the units work off of 1 transducer or can I run them on one? Also wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the 967? May consider getting another 997 if the interlinking doesn't require another transducer. By the way, how would the side imaging work at slow trolling speeds .4-.6?

Interlink only involves the navigation functions. You still need a transducer for each unit. I have a 917c interlinked to my 997c---works great. Side scan seems to work best at 3 to 5 mph for me.

The interlink supports accessories too. I have a weather sence hooked up & both units access it.

I have no problems with my SI at slow speeds but like Rock said, it works best at about 3 to 5 mph.
