Default Help with Minn Kota Trolling motor

I just changed the shaft in my Minn Kota trolling motor its a All Terian 70 lb with 24 volt. The old one was bended. I got it changed out put a new one back in motor assembly. But I have a problem the motor turns backwards. Can this be reverse some way. I put the new one just like how the old one came out. I`m a little confused.

Double check your wiring. It sounds like you reversed the + and the - wires.

Could you not change the wires at the plug? And let it run the right way with that? I know I wired the plug backwards one time on a Johnson 12-24 and it ran backwards in forwards .

did you take the bottom half apart? if you got the magnet backwards or upside down it will spin backwards too!

if not you got a wire backwards... I rebuilt that exact same motor and had the same problem.....
