Default Whats your opinion on SD cards

I am planning on purchasing an sd card if it will give me additional valuable information that I dont already get with my Lowrance LMS-522C and I think it will. I have some pretty good detail such as the river channel, and water depths in 10 feet increments. I am looking to be able to see more things like creek channels and contour lines etc. Would like some testimonials on what you are using , brand it is, and how you like it. I have looked at 2 different types and will be needing one for Tennesse's Middle Tn lakes. Thanks

It all depends on what lakes are supported by the particular chip. I have the Navionics Premium, and it's great on Kentucky and Barclay. Far better than the built-in maps. Look at the web site and see what kind of support they have for the lakes you fish.

I have Navionics Hot Maps Premium and it has 1 ft. depth contours on the lakes I fish. It really helps me locate channels and structure...

Navionics if they have the lakes you fish. I also use MapCreate to get additional detail when not in Navionics mode.

Make sure whatever you purchase will run in your unit and that you have the latest updates. I am just saying........

I have both Navionics and Lowrance. The Navionics blows the Lowrance away in detail and information

Go here and see if your lake is available. It should be all you need unless you are visiting serveral different lakes.

You can input these maps into the SD card for the 522c.

    Enhanced Lake Maps | Lowrance

Best thing is that it is free. The map I have for Oologah is very accurate.
