Went fishing today and now beside moisture the screen is locking up and nothing works, you have to dismount it to get it to start again

I'm thinking of getting a Humminbird 383c with GPS, I have a 565 now and have had nothing but moisture problems( been to Humminbird 4 times) with it so I thought instead of keeping a piece of junk and spending a $150 or so for a hand held to mark spots I would get this combo. I just need some opinions on this unit.

Two of my buddies have the 383's. Good little unit with an accurate GPS. Screen is a little small for .my taste but good unit for the $'s.

Thanks for your input, in my boat the screen size won't be a problem. It will be only a couple of feet from me and just below eye level. You can see my 565 on the front of the right rail by the seat in this picture.
