ok guys heres were im at , i have a 36 volt trolling motor, so in the rear of my boat i have batteries plus the gas tank right in rear, thats a good bit of weight, i also have the stealth system and power poles so i got alot of extra junk in my trunk lol
can i take out a battery and use one battery for all my accessories and cranking like normal, and hook the other 2 batteries to this cranking battery for my trolling motor,by taking this extra battery ut will free up about 50 lbs in the rear of my boat. ive read were alot of folks use this system but i have no idea how to wire it up, right now i have everything on the cranking battery , and got the other 3 batteries hooked together with jumpers from neg to pos and pos to neg etc...any help is appreciated,
my concern with this is when you use the trolling motor it pulls evenly from all 3 batteries, so if one battery is being used as a crank and aux battery , then the three batteries wouldnt ever be charged etc at same rate so wouldnt this kill the cranking battery prematurely, but the stealth system charges cranking battery first then shoots the extra juices to trolling batteries while motor is running so it could keep them close to even i think
i think i worded everything right all this rambling has confused me even more lol
With your batteries wired for 36V you can connect to any ONE of them for 12V. I have seen what you are talking about done but I would spread the connections out between the 3 batteries. You may or may not have interference problems between your electronics and trolling motor..
