It is human nature to be sad and selfish, and to hold on as long as we can, as we can't appreciate, love, and respect someone as long as we have and just casually let go. HOWEVER, knowing his beliefs and love for his Creator, we have reason to also be jealous of where he is now. But, until we all get to be as fortunate to meet our Savior, we can rest in who HE is to us....Lamentations 3:21-23.

This saddens me so much it’s take awhile to respond to this. We had become really close friends over the last few years and corresponded almost daily if not several times a day. He had such a great love for his family and his CDC family it’s hard to describe. Lord first family second and then his CDC family. Like an old mother hen, each member of the site was one of his chicks to nurture, protect and lift up when needed. One of the few men in my life that I wish I could be just a little more like.
Rest In Peace David because your surely going to be missed here on this earth though I know in my heart your rejoicing with the saints in heaven right now.

""G" will be missed by all of us. He is the first person to message you when you ask to be a member here on Crappie.Com. Welcoming you to the site as a member. He read every one of the applications on Line. He answers every message sent to him, and a lot of the questions in the threads. I never got to meet him personally. Can only wish I had. Prayers continue for his famil, friends and those who Like me, only new him from afar. I will think of him everytime I welcome a new member to the site. RIP "G".

Although we all know that the Lord always brings His Beloved home, as He promised He would: Praise the Lord for making "G" all that he was... and for sharing him (albeit) for this short while with the rest of us.
We must remember: This is also a celebration of life... and graduation in the highest order, for all that "G" was; all that he stood for; and all that he worked so steadfastly all of his life to attaining.
Although, like many others, I don't have the words: I do offer my heartfelt condolences to his family, and circle of friends, including each and every CDC Brother and Sister, by whom he will be so sorely missed.
May his memory, legacy, and many contributions live on vicariously through each and every one of us, as we go forward. Rest In Peace Brother "G".
