Thoughts and prayers for his family.
We are all extremely saddened by this news Slab. I know that God does not make mistakes. Jesus had need of "G" in the heavens for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Healing can come in many ways. Our Lord chose to give my friend a blessed and heavenly body with no more aches or earthly pains. We will all truly miss his wisdom on this website. We pray that Jesus will comfort his earthly family with the knowledge that he is certainly in the front row with all the saints. Rest in peace with Our Savior my friend.
My condolences and prayers. Such sad news.
So sad to hear !
Such a great guy !
prayers for all!
He was a blessing to me. Enjoyed every conversation and text I had with him. Always was complimentary to every picture I sent him and congratulative to my shared accomplishments. Gave me a very nice old cast iron Dutch oven skillet. Cooking with it will mean even more to me now. He left my life better than when he found it. Prayers of comfort to his family, friends, and our fishing family here.
So very sad to lose him. He was a great person and friend. Definitely made this site the best on the net and he’ll surely be missed. Condolences to the family from your Pennsylvania family.
Prayers and condolences to G's family, friends and acquaintances. RIP G.

RIP G you will be missed here on Crappie.com. Prayers for the family.
One of the greatest days I had on the water was with "G" in my boat. My condolences and prayers to G's family and friends. A great friend and a great man, we will all miss you "G," RIP.
It is human nature to be sad and selfish, and to hold on as long as we can, as we can't appreciate, love, and respect someone as long as we have and just casually let go. HOWEVER, knowing his beliefs and love for his Creator, we have reason to also be jealous of where he is now. But, until we all get to be as fortunate to meet our Savior, we can rest in who HE is to us....Lamentations 3:21-23.
This saddens me so much it’s take awhile to respond to this. We had become really close friends over the last few years and corresponded almost daily if not several times a day. He had such a great love for his family and his CDC family it’s hard to describe. Lord first family second and then his CDC family. Like an old mother hen, each member of the site was one of his chicks to nurture, protect and lift up when needed. One of the few men in my life that I wish I could be just a little more like.
Rest In Peace David because your surely going to be missed here on this earth though I know in my heart your rejoicing with the saints in heaven right now.
Our prayers are lifted for the family and friends.
""G" will be missed by all of us. He is the first person to message you when you ask to be a member here on Crappie.Com. Welcoming you to the site as a member. He read every one of the applications on Line. He answers every message sent to him, and a lot of the questions in the threads. I never got to meet him personally. Can only wish I had. Prayers continue for his famil, friends and those who Like me, only new him from afar. I will think of him everytime I welcome a new member to the site. RIP "G".
R.I.P. “G”, you were so important to many and to me. Praying for the family at this time of such a loss.
"G" will be missed very much.
OUR loss :pray +Cross+heavens gain. "G" will be missed by all !
Although we all know that the Lord always brings His Beloved home, as He promised He would: Praise the Lord for making "G" all that he was... and for sharing him (albeit) for this short while with the rest of us.
We must remember: This is also a celebration of life... and graduation in the highest order, for all that "G" was; all that he stood for; and all that he worked so steadfastly all of his life to attaining.
Although, like many others, I don't have the words: I do offer my heartfelt condolences to his family, and circle of friends, including each and every CDC Brother and Sister, by whom he will be so sorely missed.
May his memory, legacy, and many contributions live on vicariously through each and every one of us, as we go forward. Rest In Peace Brother "G".
R.I.P G you will be missed. Special prayers for family and friends.

Very sad day. Prayers for his family.
David was the glue for a lot of people on this site . He was a common man with a big heart . Fishermen bond quick to David because he had a genuine desire to help you be a better fisherman . I could count on seeing him early each day at "Endville Grocery" having a biscuit and coffee . Spent time swapping stories , fishing information and his love for the members of this site . Fishing was the subject but building relationships was his goal . More than once he told me he can fish anytime but looked forward to sitting with others , cooking, talking, and enjoying the outdoor environment . Rest in peace David and many prayers for the family .
Spoken words do not come to me at this sorrowful time ...
Prayers sent ... :pray
