This is so hard to type because I just got the phone call that an old friend and fishing partner of mine had passed away. I met Alton Hayslip many many years ago and we struck up a friendship and began fishing together. We eventually started to fishing the Johnson Reels Crappiethon USA tournaments. It seemed like my friend could catch a crappie out of a bath tub. The first tournament we fished Alton cought two 3lb crappie back to back and ended up winning the lunker. I could go on and on about Alton Hayslip. I now ask all of you to please pray for the Hayslip family now. GOD Bless you Alton Hayslip and may you rest in peace.
