How often do you use a double rig setup, either longlining or spider rigging. Do you see an advantage to single or double setup? Thanks mccowan

I go everywhere with two sets of rods. One with a double rig setup and one with a single rig setup. I use double rig in deeper heavy structure, when dealing with wind or current. No wind, shallower waters, I use the single rig, 6lb test, 1/16 oz.
