will be going back up north this year. go to MI alot. if we have good ice lower what lakes would be a closer drive from mid TN?...you ever fish Rend lake IL?

Never been to Rend - we have wayyyyyyy too many opportunities here in Iowa. Lots of awesome farm ponds and small reservoirs. Plus - some of the farm ponds are stunted and no limit - so you can take as many as you want. Thats where we get our Fish-fry Fish!
