black/white crappie

When you fish a lake that has Black Crappie and White Crappie, which one do you target? Do you have a different approach for fishing for one or the other? If so please explain.

If I want to catch black crappie i like to target docks and bridges and stumps that are fairly shallow ! White crappie like to hang on heavy brush and standing timber !This time of year ! Also i can catch black and white craooie off the same docks the black crappie will be shallow and the whites will tend to be down deeper on structure Thanks
