Finding Crappie in public lake

Wally, there is an 105 acre public lake near my house that is 32 feet deep and only has man made brush piles, that are at 6 to 11 feet deep. There are no stumps or ledges to speak of, and it has been hard to find the crappie this summer, can you give me any hints as to where I need to look, thanks.

I just fished a lake like this in texas ! The crappie are actually shallow just right under the surface on the stumps ! I think your fishing to deep ! Hot weather ggo Shallow
