    we have improved the blanks and made the diameter smaller, lighter ,faster, stronger ! Thanks Great question

    Love my sig. series 9ft. It's great for all around fishing styles. Which model of the new rods is comparable with it. Going to pick one up very soon as i'm heading to Ky lake in three weeks.
