Default Hooked on spinner-jigs but with larger plastic lures

I had been making some smalll spinner-jigs (some label them Beetle Spins) and caught fish on them using smaller lures such as the Crappie Magnet and 3" stick worm.

I figured that if I made a larger wire form with a larger blade, that it could work with a larger lure. It did! I used the lures from a customer who buys glitter from me. He gave me three bags of soft plastic lures he sells, each of a different color. They were 4 1/2" long and laminated and had great action.
The first fish caught was a 1 lb bass; the next was a 1/2 lb bass with sunnies also going after it.

Note: The idea of using a blade with jig & soft plastic came from catching fish on a Micro Chatterbait + 5" Kut Tail Worm. The blade doesn't spin but moves side-to-side fast, imparting a vibration to the lure.

I'm sure the larger spinner-jig will catch crappie, perch and sunfish.
