Thank you we just got some plaster of Paris and I will be experimenting on making some open face molds. See what we can come up with..
I enclosed a picture of. I don’t know what they are. Kelp worms, or whatever what size are they?. I would like to try to copy them and make a mold and make those.

Sandworms, Find them digging clams and sand shrimp all the time. Can't harvest for bait anymore so have to find replacements.
I've watched a few videos of them making the open pour molds out of silicone rubber.
Kelp eels is another name for those fish, the saddleback gunnels.
Anywhere from 4 to 14 inches. We only use 2 inch pieces most of the time.
A 2 inch and a 3 inch long, 1/2 inch wide or 3/4 inch wide one is more than big enough. If making a 6 inch or longer mold makes pouring easier just make it uniform without a taper. Can always cut pieces for what is needed.
I have one that I will take pictures of with full dimensions. Is slightly bigger than the Berkley ones but will work great in good colors.
A 6 inch replica, 3/4 wide and 1/4 inch thick would work perfect. If you want to do a taper you can but I don't think it would be useful.
That will allow anyone trying them to pick their length or use a whole one with a double hook rig. gives options for 3 two inch one or 2 three inch ones.
Might be a use for larger ones. I am gonna try to get some input from a facebook group I am on.
I can send you a sample of them.
