I learned a secret when I was making coontails. If you want a thread you can't see and that is strong as ever. I use Berkeley fire line crystal 2-6. I noticed that you can see the thread in these if you don't want that on something you might give this a try. Awesome baits too!!

green is FL green I added white glow-in-the-dark powder to it but you can add pearl white and get the same effect or plain white. be careful to much white and you will have light shade so take it easy if you're adding it to that to get that color.

the thread coming through the plastic was done on purpose I wanted to see a bloodline otherwise I would use nylon thread which would look transparent.

No not at all. They look great. I just wanted to let you in on something I figured out. I use the crystal line as it changed to the color of material you use. Just a little trick for hiding the thread if needed.
