    Is this product something you can buy and pour or do they have it patented and aren't releasing it? It seems that if these crappie baits were poured with it they would last a whole lot longer.

    It is not a product that is easily processed by the hobbyist. It requires specialized equipment to process it properly. One of the plastic companies made something similar available years ago and pulled it because of difficulties in using it properly. It is a thermoplastic but very hard to work with without expensive equipment. (Elaztech is a trademarked name, not a name for the material)
