Thread: High cavity mold question

I recently bought a 54 cavity stinger mold 1.5 inch from basstackle and it takes a 6 oz injector to fill can i just use a 4 oz injector and shoot it twice or do i have to buy a bigger injector

you will need a bigger injector.

I have that mold and the a 4oz injector works just fine.
I had similar concerns but very pleased with the results.

Bigger injector. I have the Do-It 9 oz I use for everything and love it. The plunger itself doesn't extend past the tube therefor plastic pieces don't get all behind the plunger and inside the tube like it did with my bass tackle injector. I can also shoot more molds at once than with a smaller injector.
