now you are thinking this is the way that we are going to fish them without the wire I will have to check my arsenal I may have wire keepers on some of my heads.

I'll be throwing them on 1/64th #8 and 1/32nd oz #6 ball heads no collars and will let you know how they do. Should be just fine even without the wire keeper!

I think they will just fine also please let me know how they work out for you we do have something else but I'm not going to post it just now the same type of tail but with the bigger body. okay I can't resist here's a picture same tale but bigger body.
