    Default Homemade Injector for molds

Now harken back to your doctoral thesis recall Plastic cuts Skin, Aluminum cuts Plastic, Steel cuts Aluminum, and Tungsten Carbide cuts everything else!

Today I had finished up my Jerry-rigged, half coolant and half aluminum soft plastic injector for get this... NOTHING! Had some spare aluminum round stock in the shop, faced and turned it down, drilled the body out to 1" and added an o-ring. The o-ring is rated for 400 degrees and I put it through its paces this afternoon. After some testing, it is concluded that the injector works and fills up the mold 7/10 times (sometimes I can't get the plunger the whole way up and I get half a mold done).

How is about that for budget beating?
