All nice work but them tubes are sweet.
So the expert is entering the fair--well all others might as well stay home or be embarrassed as long as one of the judges has fished before you should sweep the show with your fine plastics. I would gladly buy all your losers but we all know all your plastics are solid winners.................
Just something to do Jax. Always thought it would be a fun thing to do...enter something at the fair. Ma has a quilt entered at this fair and our state fair. Local fair is enough for this old boy.
Yes it should be a real kick of joy to see your own work (so wonderful it is) in the fair, bet you will be smiling from ear to ear as they announce you as the winner. P. S. You may want to have Ma with to help carry all those ribbons, plus hers of course.
Lol. She's been lifting bolts of fabric getting in shape. She'll handle it.
Share some photos of them blue ribbons too.
And a blue ribbon it is! I still can't believe it. I made Carole walk over to the display case to see if there was a ribbon. All she could do was smile. I tried a number of camera shots but with the lighting and in a glass case a decent picture was impossible. Talk about glare. At any rate, when it comes home I'll re-create the setting and get a picture or two to post so ya'll know this isn't BS.
Carole entered two quilts and got a blue and red ribbon on those. The blue ribbon quilt is headed for the state fair. Now coming home from the fair tonight she's got me talked into entering my display in the state fair too. So....it'll be "off we go" one more time in mid-August.
I still can't believe it....a blue ribbon.
Good luck
Couldn't happen to a finer fellow congratulations
Love your work
