Mold question

Wow that's a ton of info, thanks a lot man! I will probably get the same colors but add a purple to that list. I make a few bass baits so some of these colors will come in handy there. I know these baits catch fish because my family was catching nice crappies on them last night. My dad also caught a 19" walleye on a baby shad. Wasn't mine but we did catch some nice crappie on some of my baits. I would have never thought to get the hilite or the uv powder. It seems pretty important though so I'll probably get some. I did hear you can get so e glitter very cheap at michaels. I'll have to make sure it is non metal though. I didn't know doits headquarters was so close. Il. I'd get the glitter from a source that's specific to plastic making. So many of the craft glitters turn out to be bleeders or they curl with the heat. Why frustrate yourself?

Very true. I may get one to see if it works and if it does I would continue if not get plastic specific glitter. Also I did find a mold on lurecraft very very similar to the bay shad. It is 5XJC-901A. I posted a picture of everything I have made. It is the top two rows of soft plastics. They are all made from old baits and the black i bought remelts from ozark tackle

Some brighter colors will up your productivity by a lot.

I forgot to mention that just about every good crappie color I use has a chartreuse tail on it, but I do not use solid chartreuse baits all that often.

I get that but all I had to melt down was those colors. It has been all remelts that I didn't spend anything on. Did you go on lurecraft and look at that mold?
