    Default dieing colors


    wanting any help on making plastic baits .do you mix color and plastic 1st. and then is dark colors hard to do? I shook plastic let get clear and add color. light color works but not dark? and it seems to burn or change color after being in microwave 3 times. any help would be great thanks .

    Use good plastisol not cheap ones. I have good results with lurecraft. Heat plastisol in a Pyrex cup in the microwave. The temperature should reach about 325 degrees. Add coloring after you take it out of the microwave. Stir well. Be sure you are wearing heat resistant gloves. Then inject into the mold.

    try some do-it new plastic you can run the temperature up to 400 some degree good part no bubbles.

    You best use a good thermometer so you KNOW what your plastic temp is. Colors like chartreuse, green chartreuse, fluorescent orange and fluorescent pink are best added to the raw plastic and then cooked. The other colors can go in when the plastic is cooked or hot.
