I like that tail design on the shad body, as mine are just straight. Is that a DoIt mold or one that you modified?
    What are you using for a jig, about a ¼ oz # 2 ?

    billygee

    When I fish this for crappies I am using a 1/16 with a #2 hook . For walleye, I like a 1/8 or 1/4 and a #1 hook in either.

The mold is one of a kind. I've had it for a couple years now. The person who made this got fed up with little things that got in the way. It didn't turn out as he wanted and I acquired the mold when he said enough is enough. I thought maybe the tail needed some more meat to it but it does great as it sits. It may be such a thing that the future will see some renewed interest in this one and if so I'll return it to him as a starting point. Its a fish catcher for sure. I really enjoy working with this mold and the baits sort of reflect that.

Those are special my friend. I know people do not appreciate the time needed when you make multi color lures. It is quite time consuming. You played nicely and should be proud of your effort. Well Done!
