    Default Rosey's minnows?

Has anyone tried to do your own Version of this minnow? It's really getting close and I can't imagine how many of those live baits are sold . Skip on the tying section posted a real good color of two!

Shoot a PM to Snake River on this forum. I'll bet he can come up with something. You can also check the minnows on my website LURES BY CARTER . If those would work I could probably do them in a pale light orange hue.

I know those minnows will out fish normal minnows for sure. Wish we could get them here at Pickwick. But never can find them, thinking I will go buy 5 lbs in a few weeks and put in my minnow tank. That way I have rosey reds and can wack the fish for sure. And like you think the plastic will work also. Thinking I will try to mix up that color tomorrow and pour some.

Not to shabby of a match... We sometimes get them in our minnows and I have yet to catch a crappie on them... But the trout that are out there with the crappie sure like them... They always put a hurting on them... I had a buddy that would tie a wooly booger for trout in a peach color and just wear them out

Just mix white orange and a drop of pink. Can add the pink after heated even since you wont be looking for a bright color anyway.

I put 5 lbs in my tank back in the spring and still have a couple lbs 9 months later. Pretty tough minnows. I catch better with golden shiners though.

You can order them direct from Blands and they ship.
