You will love the plastic it is fantastic we are getting ready to order our second 5 gallon in that stuff is really amazing I could reheat the plastic meaning many times without no color change the best thing to is that you can run the heat up fairly high without any thing bothering the plastic is far to heat goes up to 400° it didn't hurt it at all another good thing about this plastic there are no bubbles which makes it all the more better .
I use a respirator with replaceable canister filters. I like your idea. Currently I am using 10 INCH HIGH SPEED fan to exhaust, however my wife tells me my clothes are smelling like heated plastic which means the ventilation is not working as I thought. I may need to move the operation into an unheated shed with a window then the exhaust capture goes immediately outside versus having to travel 6 feet to exhaust into the attic.
in general you will want 100cfm per sqft of your exhaust hood. then you will need to bring in the same volume of air you are exhausting through an intake vent.
say you have a hood measuring 2ft X 4ft, you will want bare minimum of 800cfm for your exhaust fan, then you will need an intake vent capable of the same 800cfm minimum air movement.
One thing I noticed with the Essential Series it takes more time to heat up on the initial heat.
I work in the garage which at this time I don't have a heater for. I found it much better in the long that when I'm done I place my molds in a shoe box and bring them and the plasital in the house to avoid them being ice cold next time I work. Thinking about bringing in my reheat plastics and colorant in too.
All my colorant, flake, and plastisol say in the house. This time of year I heat the molds in the oven.
