    Default RTV silicone

I had a failure this weekend, my rtv experiment has an issue? I tried a new co. the baits come out dull! some type of chemical reaction must be happening. when Dell's had a kit it worked perfect the baits came out shiny, the new ones are dull> very disappointed. does anyone know a secret, acetone bath or a coating painted on the walls? im at a loss. 19.99 down the drain. thanks

When I tried the DYI molds I gave mine a few good coats of glue/water. That worked for me.

I believe that the guys used Elmer's glue to seal with.

glue and water mix is used to seal POP molds, nothing but silicone will stick to silicone.
