"G"....I think he drilled in some eye sockets to dot his black plastic in. The picture doesn't show it but the eyes actually bug out away from the body on the bait. Wait, check out the bottom bait and the downward eye.

ship you did a good job on the eyeballs how do you like that mold and by the way if you are having problems on the secondary color say like if you going to shoot detail and pull the body off and shoot a different color or the body you will have problems I had to cut Van on the upper body to let the air escape sold the bodies would fill I just took the cold chisel I don't advise everybody to do this so warning before you go black and up your molds but anyway shipped if you need some pictures to look at on what I did on the more than happy to post them. that was a original from yours truly.

CTom, you are right. That is what I did. Just trying to make a bug eyed small fry minnow out of that mold. Now that I have confidence I will drill the other sockets today. Previously I just drilled six of the cavaties in case I screwed them up. ( LOL ) I would still have the other six cavaties untouched.

Bob, I thik I like it a lot more with the "Bugged out eyeballs" on it. I just kept looking at it knowing I wanted to do something but had cold feet about trying it. Then I went on you tube and searched aluminum mold making and also dremel tools videos. As I said, I liked the mold when I first got it from you and I like it a whole lot better now after some modiifications. We are always glad to see you posting your techniques to help us all out. Perhaps "G" will get bit by the soft plastic making bug now. I just know he is dying to try it especially if an old geezer like me is trying it and not burning himself too badly.

Yeah, I am going to experiment on an aluminum blank I found at a thrift store about making a small gill flap channel for the blood gills I like on my minnow. I think I have two pretty Neat ones now though. You have to have "Confidence" in your tackle box and I am confident these two dogs will hunt a bunch of crappies for me.

No problem. Crappies are already competing to see who gets to bite this cutie pie on Tuesday. They are in preliminary competion now to see who makes it to the finals. From there eight will be chosen to go to Lake Crisco.

One will get silver and the other will get gold. They will have two minnows to choose from.
