    PIGMENT POWDER
Pigment Powder is coloured powder that is used to produce a full range of colours. It is an inert colorant which has no binding power. These pigments are mainly composed of iron oxides and earth colors and contain binding agents.

Using this powder, we produce all types of paints and colouring material like enamels, acrylics, pastels, chalks, coloured pencils and oils. Further, these pigment powders can also be mixed with colour concrete, plaster, plastic resins, wood putties and epoxy and can also be used for applications such as tinting wood fillers, wood finishing, shading pore filler pastes, colored waxes or for touch-up on furniture.

I have a pegboard in a closet full of powdered pigments from maybe a dozen sources. I use them mainly as a hi lite, some see use as a pearl.

I thought that you might have a bunch of that stuff we are going to try something maybe tomorrow some of my dyestuff its powder virtually it's a pigment the boy some of those colors are super bright but some of them are natural because they are for feathers yes we do a lot of that dying hair and feathers. I got about 40 to 50 pounds of that stuff . to say how old it is some of it it come from herders would not like to see them back in business with their giant catalog of bitchy you can remember going through the pages it was like the holy Bible to me drooling at every picture some of the nice fancy rifles stocks and all the other accessories that you could buy from them.

The original Herters was only 60 miles from home. I skipped a lot of school to go there. My first fly tying kit came from Herters in 1962. Loved that place.
