well I done it
I bought the mini bug molds from lake side molds its a great mold but I felt it wasted to much plastic to shoot laminates so I got a bright idea ..... and well ...... I had the mold cut in half

Its a 12 cavity mold the large long sprus was a lot of waste

we made 2 - 6 cavity molds from one 12 cavity mold

we done this to two mold so now I have 4 - 6 cavity molds
the modified molds shoot great but now without as much waste and now I can stage the molds better for faster production (less hot plastic means faster cool time = less wasted time)
