I was dinking at the shooting table a while ago and came up with this brown-backed bait using the 1.75" small fry mold.
The bellies are the usual pearl with a smoke line. The brown is 3 ounces of plastic, 7 drops of Caney Creek original brown colorant, copper hi lite and some .008 copper glitter.
This is a nice natural brown. I like it.

Nope. Still stuck in small bait mode. I'm trying to get a new color line in the bait pail for this spring. I have plenty of what I know works, but now I want to try some new colors. If they don't work I know a guy that makes the old colors that do work.
Nice work. I like that natural look sometimes in clear water.
