Another chilly day....
....yesterday and that shooting table saw some action again. I was working at getting my basis walleye colors done in a couple favored baits and when I got to purple/chartreuse using a 3" Do-It Glider my mind wandered after a about ten shots.....as in wandered over to the cup table where all of my more recently shot plastic colors are yet in cups.

The top bait is the one I shot a bunch of for fishing the Mississippi as soon as this cold breaks up a bit. All I need is about 35 degrees and then the boat can roll. This purple/chartreuse is a mainstay color at this time of year on the Mississippi.
The blue is a re-melt of the blue color I showed the other day in the Small Fry while the belly is just clear with ever so slight amount of blue hi lite and a small pinch of the blue plastic. In the hand the belly separates real nice from the back but the sun and transparent baits create a lot of wash in a picture.
The orange guy is actually orange atop of a chartreuse belly, the same chartreuse as shown on the purple. In the hand the separation is very distinct but again the sun and the transparent colors play games with how a picture turns out. Notice the inside of the orange bait. There is a tomato red dot of color on the chartreuse prior to closing the mold for injection the orange that creates a nice diversion between the colors.
