    Default been playing....

I have been shooting in the garage until today. Ma got her Christmas stuff out of my corner in the work room yesterday so today I moved the shop inside. No more playing with plastic in a 7 degree garage this winter.

Here are a pair of K grubs done with Do-Its new molds in 2.5" and 3". The 2.5" is a great crappie sized bait while the 3" is looking at fooling some walleyes.

I have these done in Fire Tiger and Motor Oil/Orange tail. I spoon poured the top and bottom cavities leaving each shallow enough to shoot the yellow chartreuse thru to get the Fire Tiger. The welds are clean and complete. Both molds are super easy to work with and tails fill nicely. No denting to speak of helps to make these baits a keeper.

These are Do-it's molds. They are not in a catalog or on-line store yet. I have the pair to work with right now. I walked down to the river behind me and flipped these for ten minutes yesterday to see what kind of action is in the tail and all I can say is wow.

The colors are all X2 colorants from Do-It. Each one is straight color except the fluorescent green which has one drop of plain green in it [4 ounces of plastic] to bring the green out more against that yellow chartreuse. The three color numbers are putsy but the molds make it easy to work.
