I figured that headline would get your attention. Man oh man what a toothy critter that beast is. He pulled and I pulled. He jerked and I jerked. He sweated and I just said "I got this because I am using ten pound test line." I looked and there was this little circle hook that had the baby quid lodged in the corner of the shark's mouth like it was supposed to be. That Tiger Shark had so many teeth that I did not even want him in the boat. So I cut the line.
I did notice that that little squid of Bob's has tremendous tail action and vibration so I stopped fishing in the saltwater aquarium and took it to the lake to do a further test. I was only going to use the squid and my own two inch paddletails and see what I could see. Both baits were dipped in Garlic and Anise and fished. Both gave off lote of vibration but those little arms on the squid looked very enticing in the water. Heck, if I was a fish I would have attacked it because it looks like it is waving to you in the water. I caught my dinner and went home. I will have to give the tiny squid a grade of "A" because it did attract and trigger the Crappie to bite. I will give the paddle tail an "A+" because I love that bold eye on the thing. I threw it in the lake and I heard the paddle tail say "I'm looking at you crappie...what ya gonna do 'bout it" The next thing I knew my slip float went down................................
I am "Old Ship" and I approve this message. "shipahoy and I'll see you on the water."
