Default Making an order soon need some recomendations..

Going to make an order from Bears soon, Was curious about trying Hi Lite powders. Is it added before heat as its coming to temp? Can I add it to remelts? Is it worth the $?

Any particular colors yall like? Ive already got the basics (gr chart, Yel Chart, black, pink, blue, yel, red, white, brown, minnow silver, etc) Thinking of trying Chameleon! Sounds neat..

Any particular Glitters? Now i only have silver string glitter.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

You can add the Hi's after heating. I like them all but probably use blue the most. Ha boy you need to get some more glitter! :D

Chameleon is a good color but it is brown until the light hits it and shines through. Then it has purple and pink and blue in it and looks pretty wild. Hi lites give Your color some cool effects. It only takes a small amount about the size of a match head to get the desired effect. Neat stuff.CF

Thanks for the suggestions! A match head per 4 oz Ed? Does it mix good? How do you get the marble effect?

yep on the 4 ounces. You can always add a little more and do some test shots but the hi lites are supposed to give that extra hue of color when lite hits the plastic. Too much and it will change the color. But You may find some great color doing it. Just adds another choice from that aspect. Now the marbled effect, are You referring to what some of the bass guys were doing with the senko type worms or is this some effect that folks are getting using the hi lites?CF

Arkie baits makes some BGBS style baits they sell em at walmart has a dark grey greenish grey marbled effect with a chartruse tail. Ive gotten close but cant figure out the marbling almost like a messy high temp laminate???

I know You can get a dual injector and pulse one side and then the other with two different colors to get a marbled effect.CF

Chameleon is an outstanding color. You'll love what it does.

I have every color of hi lite made and use the stuff religiously. You can do more to bend colors using hi lites than any other trick in the book.

There are generally three grades, or sizes, of glitter listed and you can cut costs by getting glitters of medium size. This size can be used in just about every application.
